Packed and Ready to go

We are heading to Vegas this weekend for my cousins wedding. The kids are dying to see their cousins. I'm hoping i can find someone to watch my kids so i can go shopping! Wish me Luck!

Our first week in LA

So i adventured out on my own... thank heavens for the NUVI GPS Navigational system or i would be lost in the ghetto's of LA, with my tires stolen, my car on blocks, and me still in it! We went to the La Brea Tar Pits. They are right in downtown L.A. these pits of tar have extinct animals from the ice age time that got stuck and now they dig up the bones. They have saber-tooth tigers, huge columbian mammoths, and these huge sloth skeletons

see the cone in the grass field... they put that there so people don't get tar on them yep this place still has tar there is a natural lake that is half tar and yes they have a fence around it so animals and crazy people don't get stuck in it. I think they worry about the bums trying to take a bath and then they would have to pull them out!. it was kinda cool

They had this replica of a small mammoth and it kinda moved its head from side to side and they had it growling. Rex looked up at me and asked if it was real! It was quit life like





We also spent a day at the beach in Santa Monica Beach right by the pier. Kids loved that.

Hannah Montana

Emma is into the whole Hannah Montana thing all she wanted for her birthday was a shirt with Hannah Montana on it. Her friend Natalie gave her this wig for her birthday i thought this pic was kind of funny!

Baby Kittens

well with the move things have been crazy so i am back tracking a bit. About 6 weeks ago our cat had kittens 6 to be exact. They have been really fun to watch grow the kids really enjoyed them. Grandma Rhonda has been tending to them since we left so if anyone wants a kitten or 2 : ) let me know!

California people

We had some crazy weeks packing is never fun and i hate to say goodbye so i live in denial that i'm leaving till after i'm gone. So to all those i didn't get to say good bye we are expecting a visit! Here in our new land to catch everyone up we are living in LA for the summer. We are basically downtown and the minority. and the bum under the freeway here has a box springs and mattresses right on the side walk!


Nate has a job selling alarm systems. They pay our rent in this really nice apt. complex. We have an apartment for the summer at the Orsini a really nice brand new apt. and very safe. We have a pool, gym, full size basketball court, putting green, beach volley ball court which the kids call the beach! we are right downtown so we have some really cool museums and things next door but i'm still scared to go out driving by myself the freeways here are nuts!
