My Karate Kid

Rex was in his first regional Karate Championship, and took first place in sparring.

Sparring is no contact fighting. He's a natural! He was really nervous to go to this tournament it's the first he has done that was not put on by the place he takes karate at. The night before he tried to talk me out of going. When he got home he was so excited to shoe us this trophy. His tallest yet. He has been in 3 competitions and has taken 1st place in all three, in the sparring event. Nate went with him to this tournament, and said it was a pretty big deal for people, coaches were there coaching their kids. Anyway i'm proud of the kid.

Snow Day

I look out the cabin widow and saw a rex up a tree. It looked hard to climb a tree in snow gear, but i figured he had extra padding if he fell!

The Happiest Place on Earth

All my life i have gone to Disneyland for a one day blitz. Do all the rides in one day. I'm not going to lie. I LOVe doing it that way. You leave the park exhausted knowing that you had fun. I mean really exhausted. I am amazed how many rides we were able to do in one day, we would hit the whole park. It was impressive. We would strategically plan and them accomplish!

We recently bought season passes (how could we not) we live less than n hour from the park. It is a whole different experience. The kids take friends. Monday the kids had no school so we planned to meet friends at the park. (the kids love to have friends to do the rides with!). Last week I took just the little ones for the day and we were back to pick the older two up from school. That was a great trip their were no lines. Fridays the kids only have half day so we head over there after school and Pick Nate up on the way. We Love it!
