This kid is hilarious

She loves to go out in the front yard so this is her latest attempt to escape she climbs up and tries to unlock the door with her teeth.

How cute are these little cousins.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Well Nate started school weeks ago but i had to take a picture of him. He was not happy about it! He is actually going to an opening banquet, he does not have to were a tie to school, which he is grateful for! So far he is enjoying Law School.

Emma had her first day of second grade. She has a new school, she knows no friends and was barely nervous, i cried for heck sacks. i don't know if it is the pregnancy, or what, but this was no easier than any other year.  She went right in and started unloading her backpack in to a desk no worry in the world.

Rex obviously not nervous at all.
The kids before we took Emma to school... i know Meg looks like an orphan, but a cute one!

What we learn from our ancesters

So last Friday my parents came to town to help me get things done they were a great help hung drapes did laundry. One of my kids was whining because their burrito was to crispy so my dad told them the story of Janet Gurley and how her and her bro and sister walked across the plains and when they ran out of food they boiled their leather shoe and ate it. So they should not complain when their burrito is to crispy. at this same time my mom and i were deciding we needed to hang one more curtain, when we told my dad our plan and we were ready for him to hang another he start saying how he had hung four, done laundry and now another. Emma looked at him and said no complaining Grandpa! So he didn't and hung the last drape with a smile : } and it looks great! Thanks for the help and the life lessons!

The biggest burp of his life!!!

Yup Rex was explaining to Nate when he got home from school the other day how he had had the biggest burp OF HIS LIFE!!! It was quit humerous to see the expression on his face when it happened. He was shocked by it. Then the pride in his voice as he told his dad all about it. I was so proud to be a mother of a true boy!

Car Wash

What better, or cheaper activity could keep the kiddos busy on a Sat.!
