L.A. Marathon Run

So my kids have been staying after school two days a week to run a couple of miles each week. They have totaled 25 miles and today they ran their last 1.2 miles at Dodger Stadium to total 26.2 miles. They started at the end of the 5k run. Our school kept the kids running in 3 packs The few speedies, Rex was in the middle pack, Emma ran in the last pack. We all waited towards the end. They were so cute when they passed us. I am very pleased with how they did today and over the last couple of weeks.

My New Favorite Holiday

I have seen these cupcakes done in magazines before and have wanted to make them so we planned a play date at the park with all the kids friends. We had a blast and they were so cute and yummy. After the kids ate their rainbows they found gold hidden around the park. after all there is always gold at the end of a rainbow

I even made mini ones!

So we heard a rumor that if you put regular white oreo's out they turn green on

St. Patrick's Day

Sure enough they did!

Of course they had to try them and see how they taste... Great breakfast i know

Fish update

How these guys continue to live day by day is a miracle...

The kids are quietly watching a movie. i am taking care of Levi.

When I'm done i come into the kitchen for a drink of water to find this.

Meg decided to change the fish bowl on her own. She actually did pretty good.

The counter was a little wet. But hey the fish were safe in a cup with water.

I was just glad i wasn't picking them up off the floor or came in to them flopping around in a cup with no water in it!

Or worse i took a drink from a cup they were in!!!
